Capt. Ray Wright operates Blue Sky Guide Service at the Hernando Fishing Lodge on Lake Hernando, which is part of the Tsala Apopka 22 mile chain of lakes.
Capt. Ray offers freshwater charters on all the lakes plus the Withlacoochie River (60 miles long) including Lake Rousseau, and 6 other rivers such as Crystal River, Homosassa River and the Chassahowitska River.
The Rainbow River is also in our fishing area. These rivers and lakes provide us a multitude of year round great fishing, because of the variety of water temperatures, clarity of the water and good cover. Most of our rivers are spring fed and hold a constant temperature of 72 degrees and are very clear. This affords great fishing when the cold fronts move in during winter and also during the summer heat.
